Got back from a 5 day stay in London on Monday night. Went to see WICKED. It was amazing, everyone must see it. Also saw Phantom and Avenue Q (yes, I saw “The Internet is for Porn” performed live) and did tourist-y things, too much to write all about.
And just so everyone knows I’m living on Temple Bar now. Moving in on Saturday. And it’s just before Fringe. Need job too.
The Bionic Woman has to be the best action/drama/sci-fi since Battlestar. Not as good as but quite girl-firendly (people missing the TV version of Buffy [aka seasons 1-7] will love this ass-kicking-girl show) and staring 3 Battlestar actors (The Chief, Starbuck [as the failed/evil Bionic woman] and Baltar’s irish Lawyer).
As with SCC (Sarah Connor Chronicles) for a FOX this is unbelievable and a possible rival for Heroes.
Don’t let the glossy promo images fool you this show has bite and Lucy Hale is great as the soulful but tough Bionic Woman. In fact the acting is quite high over all.
So the shows to look out for in the coming months are;
Sarah Connor Chronicles
Bionic Woman
Darkside
Journeyman
I will have no mercy for those not watching these as well as the second-last season of LOST, the last season of Battlestar, the forth season of Atlantis and the second chapter of Heroes.
Finally got to watch the first episode of The Sarah Connor Chronicles (it was a leaked preair). Everyone must watch it when it starts.
Set over a year after Judgement Day, it fills in the gaps about what happen to Sarah and John Conner before T3. The f/x are top notch and the writting and directing are exceptional for a FOX series. Your life isn’t worth living if you haven’t seen “Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles”, so spread the word.
Also going to get around to watching “The Bionic Woman” later.
PS Watch out for Summer Glau playing a teenager, again!
